Registration Process – Enroll in our tennis programs, drills, or classes through our players portal Frisco Community Tennis (clubautomation.com) or via our app Frisco Community Tennis.
Auto-Enrollment: Once you register, you will be automatically enrolled for each session, with fees processed five days before the first day of each session. For any changes, you must email us no later than five days prior to the start of the new session. To opt out, you must email us at least five days before the first day of the session.
Refund Policy – To request a refund for classes, you must submit your request no later than three (3) business days before the program’s first class. Mid-session cancellations will not receive refunds unless the request is accompanied by proper documentation (e.g., doctor’s note). No other refunds are offered.
Medical Refunds – If you need a medical refund, a complete reimbursement can be granted before the course/program begins with a valid doctor’s note. For all medical refund claims, an official doctor’s note is required. If a medical refund request is made during the program, a proportional refund will be considered upon submission of relevant medical documentation.
Make-up Sessions – Makeup classes are available only within the same session. To be eligible for makeup scheduling, you must inform your coach or our office at least 8 hours prior to the scheduled class. We may consider exceptions for legitimate reasons, such as illness, or conflicts with FISD activities, accompanied by a concise explanation. Requests for future sessions will not be accommodated. We do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated fees for missed classes.
Inclement Weather – In case of adverse weather conditions, we will promptly notify you of class cancellations through email. We will arrange a makeup class for a later date to make up for these instances.
Programs, Clinics, & Special Events – All programs, clinics, and special events must be paid in full at the time of registration. If a clinic has a minimum of only two (2) participants, the session duration will be one (1) hour. Cancellations for clinics must be communicated at least 8 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations within a shorter window will not qualify for refunds. Weather-related cancellations for special events will be reimbursed as a credit to your account.
Court Reservations: Reserve courts up to seven (7) days before the desired usage date.
Private Lesson Cancellations – Cancel private lessons with your designated Pro at least 24 hours before the scheduled time to avoid being charged the full lesson amount.
Prohibited activities:
Pro Shop Return Policy – Items can be returned only if they remain in the precise condition as when purchased. Racquets that have been strung or unwrapped are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
FRISCO COMMUNITY TENNIS – TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND WAIVERS
This agreement (“Agreement”) contains important terms, conditions, and waivers associated with registration and participation in tennis activities at Frisco Community Tennis (“FCT”). Please read these terms carefully before becoming a player or court user (“User”) or participating as a visitor (“Visitor”) on FCT property in any FCT activities.
INCORPORATION OF FRISCO ISD RULES
By becoming a player or court user (“User”) of Frisco Community Tennis (“FCT”), you hereby acknowledge and agree that all rules, policies, and regulations set forth by Frisco Community Tennis as well as by Frisco Independent School District (FISD), and the City of Frisco shall apply to your use and participation in activities at FCT. Users are required to comply with the rules outlined by Frisco Community Tennis, FISD and the City of Frisco.
Users further acknowledge that any violation of either may result in disciplinary actions at the discretion of FCT, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or termination of user privileges without refund. FCT reserves the right to report any violations to the appropriate authorities as deemed necessary.
This Agreement incorporates by reference all applicable rules and policies of FISD, which may be
subject to change by FISD. Users shall find any modifications to City of Frisco and FISD rules
through their website. Users will be notified of any modifications to Frisco Community Tennis
rules through written notice provided by FCT.
By accepting this Agreement, Users affirm their understanding of the incorporation of, Frisco
Community Tennis, City of Frisco and FISD rules and agree to abide by and adhere to all rules
and regulations set forth by both constituencies during their participation at FCT.
COURT USERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.1. Eligibility: By becoming a player or court user of FCT, you agree and represent that you (or your parent or guardian on your behalf if you are under 18 years old) are at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must read and accept these terms on your behalf.
1.2. Entitlements: Participants in Frisco Community Tennis (FCT) programs, including players and court users, possess the right to access FCT’s facilities and engage in associated activities as outlined in the terms specified by the programs. The registration process is facilitated either through the dedicated players’ portal or via the Frisco Community Tennis App. Upon registration, automatic enrollment is initiated for each session, with corresponding fees processed five days before the commencement of the session. Any requested changes must be communicated via email no later than six days before the initiation of the upcoming session. To opt out, a notification must be sent via email at least six days before the first day of the session. Once payment is processed, it becomes non-refundable.
1.3. Fees and Refunds: To initiate a refund for classes, the request must be submitted no later than three (3) business days before the commencement of the program’s first class. Refunds for mid-session cancellations will only be considered if accompanied by proper documentation, such as a doctor’s note. No refunds are provided under circumstances other than those explicitly stated herein. For any refund claims based on medical grounds, the submission of an official doctor’s note is mandatory. In the event of a medical refund request made during the program, a proportional refund will be contemplated, contingent upon the submission of pertinent medical documentation.
1.4. Termination: FCT reserves the right to terminate participation for violations of FCT rules, regulations, policies, or misconduct, as provided in this Agreement.
1.5. Make-up Sessions: Available within the same session; notify coach or office 8 hours in advance. Exceptions for valid reasons require concise explanations, like illness or FISD conflicts. No future session requests: no refunds, credits, or prorated fees for missed classes. Make-up is subject to availability.
1.6. Adverse Weather Policy – In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, timely email notifications will be issued for class cancellations. Make-up classes will be scheduled for a later date to compensate for such instances. For weekday programs, our primary effort will be to schedule makeup sessions on Fridays of the same week to ensure timely coverage of the content. Please note that for weekend classes, makeup arrangements may vary.
FCT RULES AND REGULATIONS
2.1. Compliance with Rules: Users and Visitors agree to comply with all FCT rules, regulations, and policies related to facility usage, behavior, dress code, and safety.
2.2. Modification of Rules: FCT reserves the right to modify the rules, regulations, and policies at any time, with written notice to the users.
2.3. Publication of Rules, Regulations, and Policies: FCT’s rules, regulations, and policies are available on FCT’s website and are incorporated into this Agreement the same as if herein written out at length.
PRIVACY POLICY
3.1. Personal Information and Use of Images: FCT will collect, use, and protect personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is available on FCT’s website.
3.2. Images: By participating in FCT activities, events, or using FCT facilities, Players and Visitors grant FCT permission to photograph, record, or capture their image, likeness, or voice for any purpose, including promotion, advertising, and marketing of FCT. Users agree that FCT is the exclusive owner of the resulting images and any associated intellectual property rights.
VISITOR TERMS AND WAIVERS
4.1. Visitor Access: Visitors, defined as individuals who are not current players or court users of FCT, may be allowed access to FCT facilities in accordance with FCT rules, regulations, and policies and at the discretion of FCT management.
FEES REGULATIONS
5.1. Court Registration Fees & Programs:
a) FCT determines all fees, which are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
b) FCT reserves the right to modify fees at its discretion. Users will be notified in writing of any fee changes in advance.
5.2. Payment Methods:
a) Payment for fees shall be made through methods accepted by FCT, as specified on FCT’s website.
5.3. Late Payment:
a) Any payments not received by the due date specified by FCT may be subject to late fees or penalties as determined by FCT.
5.4. Refunds:
a) Program and reservation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise specified by FCT or as required by applicable laws.
CONDUCT POLICIES
6.1. Behavioral Expectations:
a) All users and Visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner while on FCT premises;
b) disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior towards other Users, Visitors, staff, or FCT property is strictly prohibited.
6.2. Prohibited Conduct:
a) The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
i) Verbal, physical, or written abuse or harassment of others.
ii) Discrimination or hate speech based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or other factors.
iii) Theft, vandalism, or intentional damage to FCT property or the property of others.
iv) Use of illegal substances or engaging in illegal activities on FCT premises.
6.3. Consequences of Violations:
a) Violations of conduct terms may result in disciplinary actions
at the discretion of FCT, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or termination of
membership without refund.
b) FCT reserves the right to report unlawful activities to the appropriate authorities.
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
7.1. Proper Use: a) All Users and Visitors agree to use FCT facilities, equipment, and services for their intended purposes and in a safe, lawful, and responsible manner.
7.2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: a) Users and Visitors must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and FCT rules, regulations, and policies when using FCT facilities and participating in FCT activities.
7.3. Responsible Conduct:
a) All Users and Visitors agree not to engage in any conduct that may disrupt or interfere with the use and enjoyment of FCT facilities by others.
7.4. Prohibited Activities:
a) The following activities are strictly prohibited:
i) Use of FCT facilities or equipment for any illegal activities.
ii) Unauthorized modification, copying, distribution, or sharing of FCT materials or intellectual property.
iii) Distribution of unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, or spam.
iv) Any action that violates the privacy or security of others, including but not limited to hacking, phishing, or unauthorized access to systems or data.
v) Carrying guns or any weapons on FCT premises.
vi) Alcohol and Drugs Policy: It is strictly prohibited to possess, consume, or be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs on the premises. Violation of this policy may result in immediate consequences, including but not limited to disciplinary actions, termination of participation, and, if applicable, reporting to law enforcement authorities. This policy is in accordance with relevant local, state, and federal laws governing the use and possession of alcohol and drugs.
7.5. Consequences of Violations:
a) Violations of the acceptable use policy may result in disciplinary actions at the discretion of FCT, including warnings, suspension, or termination of participation, without refund.
b) FCT reserves the right to report unlawful activities to the appropriate authorities.
7.6. Virtual Conduct:
a) Users and Visitors agree to maintain respectful and appropriate behavior when interacting virtually through FCT’s online platforms, forums, or social media channels.
b) Hate speech, cyberbullying, harassment, or any form of abusive behavior in virtual interactions is strictly prohibited.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY POLICY
8.1. Emergency Procedures:
a) In the event of a medical emergency on FCT premises, Users and Visitors are urged to call emergency services (e.g., 911)
b) FCT staff may not be trained to respond to medical emergencies and provide medical
assistance until professional help arrives.
9. TEXAS ASSUMPTION OF RISK, LIABILITY LIMITATION, RELEASE, AND
INDEMNIFICATION
9.1. Disclosure of Risks of Using FCT Facilities. Players and Visitors expressly acknowledge and agree that participating in activities on or near FTC facilities or otherwise connected with FCT activities, physical and otherwise, including, but without limitation, engaging in playing, practicing, competing, learning, demonstrating racquet-related sports, such as tennis and pickleball or using equipment provided by FCT may result in serious physical or emotional injury, painful surgery or other treatment, extensive physical therapy, even death. Players and Visitors also expressly acknowledge and agree that they have the freedom and opportunity to decline any such participation or use of FCT facilities if they believe such participation or use may present a risk to their health or well-being.
9.2. Limitation of Liability under Texas Law: a) Players and Visitors understand and agree that, to the fullest extent allowed by Texas law, the FCT’s liability for any claims or actions for loss, physical or emotional injury, or damages shall be limited to the extent of applicable insurance coverage, if any, carried by the FCT, but without such limitation upon the insurance covering Players, Visitors, or other third parties.
9.3. Express Assumption of Risk: a) Players and Visitors expressly assume all risks of loss, physical or emotional injury, or damages associated with participation in FCT activities and use of FCT facilities, including, but not limited to, any risks caused by the negligence of the FCT, its employees, agents, or volunteers.
9.4 HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFICATION. Players and Visitors agree to hold harmless and indemnify the FCT, its employees, agents, or volunteers from and against any and all claims, demands, legal actions and proceedings, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, brought by a Player, Visitor, or anyone acting under or through them, arising from participation in FCT activities or on FCT premises, for any and all loss, physical or emotional injury, including death, monetary loss, or damage to property, WITHOUT REGARD TO THE NEGLIGENCE, ACTUAL OR ALLEGED, OR MALFEASANCE OF THE CLUB, ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR VOLUNTEERS.
9.5. Acknowledgment of Understanding: a) Players and Visitors acknowledge that they have read this Agreement including the limitations, risk assumptions, and indemnifications, and fully understand its terms, and understand that they are giving up substantial rights, including their right to sue. They acknowledge that they are signing this waiver freely and voluntarily.
9.6. Knowing and Voluntary Execution: a) Players and Visitors acknowledge that they have read this Texas waiver and liability release, fully understand its terms, and understand that they are giving up substantial rights, including their right to sue. They acknowledge that they are signing this Agreement freely and voluntarily.
10. Parking Policy
10.1. Parking Regulations: a) Players and Visitors shall comply with all parking rules and regulations set forth by the FCT, FISD & City of Frisco.
b) Parking is permitted only in designated parking areas and during FCT’s business hours.
c) No overnight parking is allowed.
10.2. Liability Waiver: a) The Players and Visitors acknowledge and assume all risks related to parking at the FCT facilities, including theft, vandalism, and damage to vehicles.
b) FCT shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property resulting from the use of its parking facilities.
10.3. Vehicle Maintenance and Responsibility: a) Players and Visitors are responsible for the maintenance and security of their vehicles while parked at the FCT facilities.
b) FCT is not responsible for any maintenance, repairs, or damages to the parked vehicle.
10.5. Termination of Parking Privileges: a) FCT reserves the right to terminate parking privileges for any violations of parking regulations or any behavior deemed unacceptable.
11. GOVERNING LAW
11.1. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas.
By participating in FCT activities as a Player or a Visitor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and waivers
