Discover a new approach to tennis in Frisco with Frisco Community Tennis. We manage all the Frisco and FISD tennis courts, offering a range of services to enhance your tennis experience.

At FCT, we envision a well-organized and guided tennis community in Frisco. Our mission is to support and enhance the tennis experience for everyone, regardless of skill level. We achieve this through court reservations, excellent training, effective facilities management, and classes led by certified professionals. We are dedicated to elevating the tennis scene in Frisco.

About Omar

Omar started his tennis career in Mexico. At the age of 13, he joined Gary Kesl’s tennis academy in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he developed his game. He became Mexico’s National Champion in the 16’s and 18’s divisions, and made the top 20 in Florida. After graduating high school, he achieved a Division 1 scholarship at South Alabama University where he finished his bachelor’s degree in Marketing/International Business.

Omar brings over 15 years of coaching experience and extensive playing skills to OT Tennis Academy, as well as managing and directing companies. His coaching experience ranges from beginners to top-ranked juniors. Omar’s unique ability to understand the mental aspect of tennis helps him connect with players and instill in them the mental toughness tactics that are critical for any aspiring athlete.

About Carlos

Carlos Crisostomo was born in Chile where he started his tennis career at a very young age. He was consistently ranked in the top #10 best players in Chile while in juniors, and at the age of 18 he decided to take on a scholarship to come to the United States and play college tennis, getting a professional degree in Business Administration.

Carlos played college tennis at Harding University where he consistently played at the top of his school’s line up, and reached up to #23 in the nation in doubles and #44 in the nation in singles of the NCAA Division II Rankings.

Once his playing career was over, he decided to put all his passion into teaching the sport that he loves and gave him so much up to that point. Carlos was the assistant coach at Harding University for a year, worked at the John McEnroe tennis academy on 3 summer seasons, and most recently he was a senior professional and tennis coordinator at Old Oaks Country Club in New York for over 3 years.

Max Fabiani

About Max

Max fell in love with tennis fairly late in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at age 12, and he was able to finish his short junior tennis career recognized with the Best Player of 1991 award by his tennis federation, winning tournaments at State, National, and international levels. Max played in 4 professional tournaments at the age of 17, but he had plans to use tennis to obtain a higher education. Thanks to tennis, Max was able to put himself through two college degrees at Collin College and later at Texas Christian University (TCU).

In coaching, Max began assisting his coaches at age 14. and he was very lucky to be on the court with some of the most respected coaches in the world. Between playing and teaching, Max spent countless hours on the courts before coming to play in college in Texas. Max has been a certified USPTA Elite Coach for 19 years, certified Mental Toughness Coach ( Human Performance Institute, Dr. Jim Loehr) and approved USTA SafePlay. Max helped and developed professional players, served as liaison for Texas at Nationals and, most importantly, helped over 100 players achieve NCAA tennis scholarships in pursuit of higher education. Max attributes his success as a coach to his love for the game and the long line of competent coaches who helped him along the way.

About Anelisse

Anelisse Garner was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where she started playing tennis at a very young age. She was in the top #5 players in her country in juniors. After juniors, she decided to continue her tennis career while getting an undergraduate degree in Accounting at Missouri State University. Anelisse played Division 1 college tennis as #2 singles and doubles for Missouri State University, helping her team win the Missouri Valley Conference her senior year (2018).

After college, Anelisse obtained her master’s degree in Project Management while being the volunteer assistant coach for Missouri State University and working full-time as an accountant for 3 years. She has worked as the Sports Community Sports Coordinator for the Springfield-Greene County Park Board (MO) organizing and leading tennis outreach events. Also, she has directed the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) program and created the first adaptive tennis program for the city of Springfield, MO.

Anelisse is certified by the Professional Tennis Registry and USTA SafePlay. She has worked with kids and adults of various skill levels, from beginners to high performance athletes.

Saif Noorsumar

About Saif

Saif grew up in Pakistan where he played national and provincial ranking tournaments as well as ITF Junior world ranking tournaments achieving a Junior ITF world ranking of 660. He also attained the number one ranking in his province/state in the Men’s Singles category.

He played NCAA Division 2 collegiate tennis for Saint Leo University on a tennis scholarship in the state of Florida, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He played #3 singles and #1 doubles on his university team lineup.

During his college years he started his coaching career and acquired his certification as a Level 1 coach with the International Tennis Federation (ITF). To gain more experience as a player and coach he has trained at the world famous IMG Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida alongside world famous players like Andy Murray, Tommy Haas, Radek Stepanek, Nicole Vaidisova, Nenad Zimonjic, Daniel Nestor and many more.

During his 15 years of coaching he has taught at many prestigious tennis clubs and facilities in his native country of Pakisatan, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Maine and Massachusetts.

About Marilyn

Marilyn Roustand, a native of Mexico City, is an incredibly passionate and driven tennis enthusiast. At the young age of 12, she fully immersed herself in the world of tennis, showcasing unwavering commitment and determination. Marilyn’s exceptional skills and dedication to the sport earned her an athletic scholarship, which brought her to college in the United States.

Her academic and athletic journey led her to King University (TN), a NCAA division II school, where she secured a scholarship and achieved her bachelor’s degree in business and economics. Fueling her ambition even further, she went on to excel in her studies and earned a master’s degree in business administration.

During her college days, Marilyn ventured into the rewarding realm of tennis coaching, making her mark as a dedicated mentor at Bristol Racquet & Fitness Club. Post-graduation, she soared as a Tennis Professional at the esteemed Manor Golf & Country Club (GA), captivating players with her infectious energy.

About Andrew

Andrew was a multi-sport athlete through middle school when he began to focus exclusively on tennis. He competed in USTA and UTR tournaments, ultimately rising to a top 50 ranking in the State of Texas. As a high school player, Andrew progressed to the UIL State Championship tournament as a singles player and won numerous awards as a singles and doubles player at the District, Area, and Regional levels. His Lebanon Trail High School team was twice UIL Regional Finalists and a top 5 ranked team in the State during his junior and senior years. Andrew has been coaching tennis since 2019, he enjoys teaching the fundamentals and skills that make a successful doubles player. He is currently attending Collin College.

Nick Checo

About Nick

Nick began his tennis career over 10 years ago. He competed on numerous USTA and DPTA tournaments as a junior player. In both 2014 and 2015, Nick won the DPTA Masters Tournaments and earned the right to compete representing Dallas at the State Grand Prix Tournament at Newk’s Tennis Academy in New Braunfels, TX as Team Captain. Nick and his team captured silver medals in this highly competitive two-day tournament event.

He played for the Wakeland High School tennis team. Nick and his teammates won the 2016 Spring Men’s District 9-AAAA Champions and Regional Quarterfinalists.

He is a senior at UNT currently completing his Bachelors in Recreation, Event, Sports Management. He is USPTA certified as a tennis professional coach since 2020 and has worked with OT Tennis Academy for 3 years.

Luke was born in Atlanta, GA. where he began playing tennis at a very young age with family and friends. By age 8, he began competing in state and regional level USTA tournaments reaching a top 10 ranking in the state for his age group. After elementary school, Luke moved to Frisco, TX where he continued competing in USTA tournaments while also playing line 1 singles and doubles for Cobb Middle School.

Luke played four years of Varsity tennis for Wakeland HS. While he was there he won multiple 1st team all district awards for both singles and doubles. His senior year, Luke was the captain for his team and named MVP at the end of the year. Luke graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors in Business Administration, focused in Sports Management and Entertainment. While attending, he continued his passion for tennis by teaching private lessons around Frisco before joining Frisco Community Tennis.
