About Omar

Omar started his tennis career in Mexico. At the age of 13, he joined Gary Kesl’s tennis academy in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he developed his game. He became Mexico’s National Champion in the 16’s and 18’s divisions, and made the top 20 in Florida. After graduating high school, he achieved a Division 1 scholarship at South Alabama University where he finished his bachelor’s degree in Marketing/International Business.

Omar brings over 15 years of coaching experience and extensive playing skills to OT Tennis Academy, as well as managing and directing companies. His coaching experience ranges from beginners to top-ranked juniors. Omar’s unique ability to understand the mental aspect of tennis helps him connect with players and instill in them the mental toughness tactics that are critical for any aspiring athlete.

About Carlos

Carlos Crisostomo was born in Chile where he started his tennis career at a very young age. He was consistently ranked in the top #10 best players in Chile while in juniors, and at the age of 18 he decided to take on a scholarship to come to the United States and play college tennis, getting a professional degree in Business Administration.

Carlos played college tennis at Harding University where he consistently played at the top of his school’s line up, and reached up to #23 in the nation in doubles and #44 in the nation in singles of the NCAA Division II Rankings.

Once his playing career was over, he decided to put all his passion into teaching the sport that he loves and gave him so much up to that point. Carlos was the assistant coach at Harding University for a year, worked at the John McEnroe tennis academy on 3 summer seasons, and most recently he was a senior professional and tennis coordinator at Old Oaks Country Club in New York for over 3 years.

About Luke

Luke was born in Atlanta, GA. where he began playing tennis at a very young age with family and friends. By age 8, he began competing in state and regional level USTA tournaments reaching a top 10 ranking in the state for his age group. After elementary school, Luke moved to Frisco, TX where he continued competing in USTA tournaments while also playing line 1 singles and doubles for Cobb Middle School.

Luke played four years of Varsity tennis for Wakeland HS. While he was there he won multiple 1st team all district awards for both singles and doubles. His senior year, Luke was the captain for his team and named MVP at the end of the year. Luke graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors in Business Administration, focused in Sports Management and Entertainment. While attending, he continued his passion for tennis by teaching private lessons around Frisco before joining Frisco Community Tennis.

About Chris

Born in East London, South Africa, Chris was ranked No. 16 in South Africa for Boys’ Singles 18s and No. 35 for Boys’ Doubles 18s. He played collegiate tennis at Collin College, where he was the No. 1 Singles player from 1998 to 2000. During this time, he won the Rolex Singles NJCAA Tournament in the region and qualified for nationals. Recruited to play for Drury University, an NCAA Division II school, he competed from 2000 to 2002, helping the team achieve a top 10 national ranking. Chris has also coached his son from a young age, who now plays college tennis for Harding University.

About Max

Max fell in love with tennis fairly late in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at age 12, and he was able to finish his short junior tennis career recognized with the Best Player of 1991 award by his tennis federation, winning tournaments at State, National, and international levels. Max played in 4 professional tournaments at the age of 17, but he had plans to use tennis to obtain a higher education. Thanks to tennis, Max was able to put himself through two college degrees at Collin College and later at Texas Christian University (TCU).

In coaching, Max began assisting his coaches at age 14. and he was very lucky to be on the court with some of the most respected coaches in the world. Between playing and teaching, Max spent countless hours on the courts before coming to play in college in Texas. Max has been a certified USPTA Elite Coach for 19 years, certified Mental Toughness Coach ( Human Performance Institute, Dr. Jim Loehr) and approved USTA SafePlay. Max helped and developed professional players, served as liaison for Texas at Nationals and, most importantly, helped over 100 players achieve NCAA tennis scholarships in pursuit of higher education. Max attributes his success as a coach to his love for the game and the long line of competent coaches who helped him along the way.

About Saif

Saif grew up in Pakistan where he played national and provincial ranking tournaments as well as ITF Junior world ranking tournaments achieving a Junior ITF world ranking of 660. He also attained the number one ranking in his province/state in the Men’s Singles category.

He played NCAA Division 2 collegiate tennis for Saint Leo University on a tennis scholarship in the state of Florida, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He played #3 singles and #1 doubles on his university team lineup.

During his college years he started his coaching career and acquired his certification as a Level 1 coach with the International Tennis Federation (ITF). To gain more experience as a player and coach he has trained at the world famous IMG Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida alongside world famous players like Andy Murray, Tommy Haas, Radek Stepanek, Nicole Vaidisova, Nenad Zimonjic, Daniel Nestor and many more.

During his 15 years of coaching he has taught at many prestigious tennis clubs and facilities in his native country of Pakisatan, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Maine and Massachusetts.

About Andrew

Andrew was a multi-sport athlete through middle school when he began to focus exclusively on tennis. He competed in USTA and UTR tournaments, ultimately rising to a top 50 ranking in the State of Texas. As a high school player, Andrew progressed to the UIL State Championship tournament as a singles player and won numerous awards as a singles and doubles player at the District, Area, and Regional levels. His Lebanon Trail High School team was twice UIL Regional Finalists and a top 5 ranked team in the State during his junior and senior years. Andrew has been coaching tennis since 2019, he enjoys teaching the fundamentals and skills that make a successful doubles player. He is currently attending Collin College.

About Camryn

Camryn began playing tennis at a very young age at the Academia Fabiani in Highland Park, TX. Her dedication to learning deep technical skills quickly placed her in a class that produced several of the top junior players in the State of Texas. Camryn competed in USTA and played Varsity tennis at J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson,TX. As a coach, Camryn’s passion for tennis along with a knack for helping others results in a disciplined yet charismatic coach who engages students and produces results. Camryn led the 10 and Under Junior Development classes at Fretz Tennis Center in Dallas before joining Frisco Community Tennis. Camryn loves working with people of all ages and skill levels.

About Jamel Madison

Jamel began his tennis career at the age of 13 in Shreveport, LA, at Southern Country Club, where he developed his skills and passion for the sport. Competing on the junior circuit, he achieved a ranking in the top 100 in Louisiana juniors by the time he graduated high school. During this period, Jamel also earned the prestigious Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America.

After high school, Jamel pursued a corporate career, working for two Fortune 500 companies—AT&T and First American Title—over a span of 15 years. While working full-time, he completed a degree in telecommunications at Pace University in New York.

Jamel eventually transitioned to a full-time tennis coaching role at the Dallas Athletic Club, where he worked with students ranging from 3 to 70 years old. He later founded Madison Ace, a tennis business dedicated to breaking down barriers and making tennis more accessible through diverse classes, events, and lessons.

Jamel’s commitment to the tennis community extends to his volunteer work with the Dallas Tennis Association and the USTA, where he focuses on expanding tennis opportunities to underserved communities.

With a high level of knowledge and experience, Jamel combines technical expertise, a strong coaching background, and a passion for growing the game of tennis to inspire players of all ages and skill levels.
